Embark on a thrilling 9-day safari that follows the legendary Great Migration as wildebeest and zebras make their daring Mara River crossing. Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our friendly driver will be ready to greet you warmly, holding a sign with your name. You’ll then be comfortably transferred to the charming Nice Hotel. Later, our knowledgeable safari coordinators will give you a briefing, giving you a glimpse of the exciting adventures ahead. Take time to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Nice Hotel, complete with a swimming pool, lush garden, bar, and restaurant. Overnight: Nice Hotel or similar
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast we depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. You will spend your night at Lodge/Similar. All meals included.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After early morning breakfast you will proceed with the game drive in Serengeti National Park. You want to experience the most memorable moments worth the tale to tell and the adventure to explore with the most fascinating memories. The park is filled up with wild animals and the most beautiful landscape. The Serengeti, East Africa’s eternal paradise with its endless plains and wild animals makes one feel as though evokes a sense of having arrived in an apparently peaceful corner of the world. You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the Big Cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for popular African Safaris. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 Zebras flow South from the Northern Hills to the Southern plains for the short rains and then swirl west and north after the long rains Enjoy Afternoon game drives in the park and a break for lunch. Later drive to Lodge/Similar for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Central Serengeti to North Serengeti (Kogatende)
Early morning after breakfast, we proceed with an early morning game drive in the heart of Serengeti national Park. Serengeti where the extraordinary unfolds every day reserves a guaranteed humor, heart-breaking and nail-biting tension capturing the dramatic and emotional interconnected stories of iconic savannah Animals. On our way you will spot animals starting from the big cats as well as herbivores like Zebras, buffalo and thousands of gazelles before driving to the North of Serengeti also known as Kogatende following the great migration. Enjoy a whole day of game drives in these vast plains with intermediate break for lunch then drive to your accommodation. Meals and overnight at Tented Camp/Similar.
Day 5 & 6: Two Full day on North Serengeti National Park
Another majestic full day in the Kogatende area following the great migration of more than a million wildebeests and more than 250,000 zebras accompanied by antelopes. You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats as well as the migrating herds.
The migrating herds are found on the Northern Serengeti during the months of July to October before heading to Masai Mara. If you’re lucky enough here is the best place to witness the wildebeest crossing Mara River as well as the hungry crocodiles hunting their prey. After lunch and further game drive you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Meals and overnight at Tented Camp/Similar.
Day 7: North to Central Serengeti National Park
Another splendid day in Serengeti National Park the land with unspoilt nature splendor creating the most amazing moments with more great adventures. With an option to safari in the air meaning the balloons if interested. You will drive from North Serengeti to Central Serengeti. Meals and overnight at Camp/Similar
Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. After ascending the crater, you will drive to Karatu town. You will have your dinner and Overnight stay at Tented lodge/Similar
Day 9: Departure
After breakfast from the hotel you will check out and start your journey back to Arusha for hot lunch before proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home, and this marks your end of safari with us.
